TJ Sclafani, baritone, is a composer, actor, vocalist, songwriter, sound designer, and producer; currently splitting his time between Los Angeles and New York. As a performer, TJ has performed with groups such as C3LA: The Contemporary Choral Collective of Los Angeles, Tonality, Schola Cantorum on Hudson, and the New York Choral Society; and has performed in productions produced at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, LaMaMa Experimental Theatre Club, the Kraine Theater, Ugly Rhino, the California Institute of the Arts, and the Brooklyn Theater Club. Currently, TJ performs with HEX, as well as the experimental music outlet, this machine.
As a composer, TJ’s works have been performed by gnarwhallaby, C3LA, the Ensemble at CalArts, the New Millennium Brass Ensemble, the Moravian Philharmonic, award-winning pianist Allison Brewster-Franzetti, and various ad-hoc chamber ensembles.
